Finland’s ethereal Igloo Arctic Resort nestles on the edge of the wilderness, along the route to the Artic Sea. You will spend one night in one of the world-famous glass igloos, where you can take in the enchanting beauty of the Northern Lights and Artic Wilderness from thermal glass surroundings, sure to keep you warm in Arctic conditions. The other two nights will be spent in traditional Log Cabins, made from the native kelo pines and are designed in a rugged style that fits perfectly with the wild surroundings. Every cabin comes equipped with its own sauna and fireplace.

The polar night, or Kaamos, is a magical period in the Artic. With the blue light of twilight, metres and metres of snow and extreme frost, this is what the heart of winter is made of.  In January, when the sun finally raises after its long retreat, the days quickly grow longer. What could soothe the soul more than Cross-country skiing on densely packed snow or taking a snowmobile out in the crisp, bright winter sunshine? At the Igloo Arctic Resort, there are numerous winter activities available to you –  from Husky, Reindeer and Snowmobile safaris, to Aurora hunting, Ice Fishing, Cross-Country Skiing & Igloo Building.
