Located in an extraordinarily beautiful spot on the edge of the Rift Valley and nearly 1,000ft above the plains of the Maasai Mara, Angama Mara is a remarkable safari lodge named after the Swahili word for 'suspended in mid-air'.
After flying into Nairobi, you would spend the first night at one of the city's luxurious hotels, before journeying in a small private plane to Angama Mara’s airfield the following morning.
Over the next four days you would enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime Safari experience, including a 'safari by air' over the Maasai Mara in hot air balloons towards the Tanzanian border. Throughout the course of your trip you would be taken on a number of Game Drives through the heart of the Mara Triangle, where the vast grasslands are home to abundant herds, as well as Africa’s Big Five - lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo.
During your stay, you have the opportunity to experience the big five, a balloon flight over the Mara and of course the legendary and spectacular Migration of the Wildebeest.
